Mexican Hat, Utah

This is the view for the man with the rock sombrero.

Directions:  Just north of the town of Mexican hat, follow the sign to the right.  Pull off in a cut-out.  There is a road that goes around the bottom of this formation or you can take a shorter trail almost to the top.

Sights:  When we arrived near the top of the hill surrounding Mexican hat, the view surprised us.  A green river flows through waving layers of sandstone.

Numbers:  It doesn’t look like many people stop at this landmark, but we think it is well worth hiking around.

Dog’s Perspective:  My humans and I have gone for two walks today and it isn’t even noon.

Also introducing the “Little Red Hen” and the sports car that does all of the work.
